I really wanted to have a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy because I was obsessed with the first book, excited from the second book, and this book had high expectations. Unfortunately, the plot felt rushed in too many spots and there were so many random characters that I didn't know what to make of it. I did overall enjoy reading this last book, but it didn't pull me in with every chapter as the past books did. Nevertheless, Kat is still a great author with a Middle Grade book on the way and I won't let this book be the end-all to reading her books.

Final novel in Hybrid Chronicles consistently follows quality level and suspense of its predecessor. It seems the author wasn’t really sure what kind of story she’d like to tell at the time she wrote first novel in the series. Once she made that decision following two novels gained clarity, focus and suspense somewhat lacking in the first novel. Therefore, final part reads quickly and easily, almost in stride. Despite slightly naïve ending, it’s satisfying conclusion of curious story.

I loved the book. The way it all fit together, the way everything turned out perfect. I maybe wish there wasn't as much catch and release or at least make it last a little longer because you can only be so lucky. But overly it was amazing and I want to read much much more!

You need to read the whole trilogy and the action is slow at times, probably could have been condensed a bit.
A novel idea on individual rights when 2 people share the same body with different desires and boy friends.
I'm still not quite sure why society would be opposed to such an enigma in the first place. As the issues became more global, the sstory became more intriguing.
This book is such an amazing finale to an amazing trilogy. I seriously cannot express how wonderful this book is. Every single page is written with such detail that I feel like I'm there with Addie and Eva. This book takes many unexpected turns, but the turns are justifiable and make sense. The emotions that Zhang has to convey are beautifully illustrated on the page. I love this book so much.

When I first got this book, I was a bit apprehensive. Many popular trilogies some how manage to mess everything up in the last book... "Echoes of Us" has by far one of the most satisfying endings for a series that I have read in a long time.

If you like action-packed stories with a great plot, dialogue, and subplots, this is definitely the book series for you!
